Laura is a naturalist, a wilderness adventurer, has assistant taught college-level field courses, and holds a deep love & commitment to and for the vision fast ceremony as an annual practice in her life.  She has followed a path of service and spiritual healing through the nature awareness connection for the past eight years.

Upon finding her passion for people and the transformative nature of the wilderness, Laura went to live and work at The Ojai Foundation on 40 acres of land, training and practicing in the Way of Council, and working in service to all programs on the land predominantly Youth Rites Of Passage.  She has co-taught wilderness survival skills through the Wilderness Within, has fasted, trained, and assisted with the School of Lost Borders for the past three years, and is co-guiding for Marin Academy's Youth VisionFast program this spring.  She's a certified Wilderness First Responder and is trained in CPR.
